The Tanque Verde High School Library does more than books. We have comfortable chairs for reading and socializing, computers for research, and several tables for homework, meetings, and testing.

The library staff assists teachers and students with reference and research, technology use, class projects, and more.  The librarian instructs classes on good resources, works with students individually, and plans units with teachers that use the most recent technology and book resources.  We explore cutting edge technologies and websites with students in order to prepare them for college level research experiences.
The Librarian
Paige Riffle is the librarian for Tanque Verde High School. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Writing and Near Eastern Studies from the University of Arizona. This is her third year as the TVHS Librarian/Technology Integration Specialist.

The high school library has over 4000 books, educational videos, and magazines geared to both adult and young adult interest. Books can be checked out for two weeks.
