January 31, 2019 -
This past weekend, approximately 25 members of the Tanque Verde High School music program auditioned for the Southeast Regional Band, Choir, and Orchestra festival. This year the music programs had an increased number of students who successfully earned a spot in the ensemble, and more students who are on the top of the alternate list, according to Tanque Verde High School Music Program Director, Mr. Ben Johnson.
The Southeast Regional festival will take place on February 15th-16th at Eastern Arizona College. Following that, students will have the opportunity to audition for the All-State ensembles in March.
