The Class of 2008, the first graduating class of Tanque Verde High School, had their 10 Year Reunion on Saturday, June 30th. Seven of the approximately 20 students in the cohort were in attendance along with several of their teachers.
"It was exciting to reminisce with this fantastic group of students," Agua Caliente Principal, Ms. Sherri Rosalik, remarked. Ms. Rosalik was then an Engllish Language Arts teacher at Tanque Verde High School (TVHS). Ms. Rosalik also noted, "They were a driven group of young people dedicated to the idea of building the high school in the Tanque Verde School District."
The students all remembered their time in the District fondly, asking about teachers from both Agua Caliente and Tanque Verde Elementary School, as well as Emily Gray Jr. High School, and of course, TVHS! Their paths have taken them a number of directions and to a number of cities from Prescott to Portland, Oregon.
We wish these first graduates, and all the alumni who followed them, continued success and happiness as they fulfill their goals and dreams. We hope we might someday have their children attending our TVUSD schools - to continue the Tanque Verde tradition!
