Preschool Camp (NEW) 

KidzArt Underwater Adventures Summer Camp (pre-k)

During KidzArt Underwater Adventures Camp, little artists’ self-expression and self-esteem will soar! Enjoy a creative arts experience where you are encouraged to work with a variety of media with an ocean theme. Please send students with water bottle, peanut-free snack, and art appropriate clothing.  Friday at 11:45am we will hold an art show for students to exhibit their projects from the week.

 Junior High Camps

Desert Speed School Summer Training for Middle School Students (NEW)

During these sessions, participants will train to improve their athletic skills that they need on the field, court, or track: Flexibility, proper running mechanics, explosive power, speed, agility, and strength. Training is adaptable for different ages and levels, and is appropriate for students simply looking to improve overall fitness as well as competitive athletes looking to compete at a higher level. Session promise to be both challenging and fun at the same time! In addition to training, nutrition principles are addressed as they pertain to youth athletes. All participants will leave with at-home tasks they can complete to improve their eating habits.

Jump Rope Camp

Jumpers will learn how to jump single rope, shared rope, long rope, wheel, traveler, egg-beater, and double Dutch. A licorice rope is included with the cost of the camp. Instructors are members of the Tucson Twist-its jump rope team. Come jump with us! Please wear tennis shoes and work out clothing.

High School Camps

PiYo Live for High School Students

PiYo Live is a full-body workout combining strength training with cardio and balance. It is designed to improve range-of-motion, strength, balance, and flexibility. PiYo is Pilates and Yoga inspired and highly beneficial for sports athletes.

Bricks 4 Kidz Lego Class

Amusement Park Camp – Campers will build a new ride each day, learning how to make things spin, roll, turn and rock. Motorized models maximize the action and fun.

Bricks 4 Kidz Lego Class

Super Heroes Camp – Campers will build many of their favorite caped crusaders. They will create a fantasy world and protect it from enemies with custom contraptions made with LEGO bricks.

Camp ACES

Each week will be a new adventure with activities, crafts, and a book that goes along with it. A packed lunch will need to be provided.

Capoeira

Each camp expands camper horizons discovering the exciting, fun, acrobatic, and dance-like moves of Capoeira martial arts. Campers will also experience playing Brazilian percussion on drums, berimbau, and more, learning traditional Afro-Brazilian dances, and songs in Portuguese. These activities will increase strength, flexibility and confidence while also giving campers knowledge and understanding of history and culture of Brazil. Last day of camp will end with a 15 minute performance for parents/caregivers/family/friends.

Drama Kids Acting Camp

Enroll in Drama Kids Acting Camp today! Here’s your chance to participate in fun activities that help you think more creatively and learn new acting and confidence-building skills. You’ll be part of plays, improvisations, silent scenes, mini-scripts, fun theater games, arts & crafts and more. Each week culminates in a dramatic presentation for your family and friends. Japanese Language and Activities

A week-long session introduces students to Japanese language and its fascinating culture. Students will learn simple words and phrases in Japanese and greet each other and introduce themselves. The students will experience many fun, hands-on activities that Japanese children enjoy in their country. Planned activities include origami, calligraphy, traditional Japanese games, folk tales, songs, train toys, and cooking & tasting. They will learn to make rolled Sushi and taste it, cook friend noodles (or Chow Mein) on a hot griddle and eat with chopsticks, taste Matcha green tea, and make shaved ice which is a traditional Japanese summer treat! They will also wear Kimono (traditional summer cotton robe) and may learn Japanese dance wearing Kimono. This is a great class for students who would like to experience a glimpse of Japanese culture.

KidzArt Out of This World Summer Camp

Join KidzArt as we launch into an exciting galaxy of drawings and projects. Voyage to realms both real and imagined and fantasies take flight with this space-themed day camp. Design your own planet as you experiment with sculpture, painting, and projects to thrill any out space explorer. Be ready for an art odyssey that Out of This World. Please send students with water bottle, peanut-free snack, and art appropriate clothing. Friday at 11:45am we will hold an art show for students to exhibit their projects from the week.

Rockwall Fun & Games

Beginning climbers will learn to boulder climb across the wall in a familiar and safe environment. Experienced climbers will practice their skills and will complete challenges and play games on the wall. We will also take breaks from the wall and play fun games and activities in the air-conditioned MPR!
