Memory Book Making/Book Binding Workshop
Students will learn traditional bookbinding techniques as well as creative bookbinding hacks that can be used to create a memory book for preserving milestones and life’s highlights. Parents can also take the class to make a memory book for a child too.

ACES Garden Club
The garden club will be the stewards of our school garden. We will learn to grow seedlings, plant & maintain a pollinator garden, add art & much more! All the while we will learn the fundamentals of cultivation, composting, harvesting, pollination & more!

Back to Basics Baking
In this course your student will learn not only how to bake but also the science behind baking. We will bake, decorate, and take home baked goods!

The purpose of this class is to increase individual skills related to basketball. Dribbling and shooting will be emphasized as well as overall understanding of the game. Students will be able to apply drills used in class to work on own individual play at home in the driveway and with friends.

Bricks 4 Kidz
Winter Fun Lego Class: Don’t get left out in the cold! Bring the winter fun indoors with interactive Bricks 4 Kidz models of some popular winter activities from the hair-raising thrill of the luge to more the relaxing pace of the horse and sleigh. We’ll build the all-business snowplow as well as the all-fun snow mobile. And our winter theme wouldn’t be complete without ice hockey and skiing. No snow? No problem – all you need to create these winter memories are our bricks and your imagination.

Drama Kids International of Tucson
Enthusiastic students who learn to speak out clearly and relate confidently with others will have an inside track to lifetime success. Our specialty is using a wide range of unique drama activities to focus the bold, outspoken child and to draw out the quiet child or the inarticulate child and help them reach into themselves to discover their full potential. At Drama Kids International of Tucson, we use a progressive curriculum that allows students to have some serious fun, while also enabling them to develop many useful life skills. Unlike typical drama programs, most of which focus on preparation for a single performance, the Drama Kids “secret sauce” is a fun, fast paced, and developmental curriculum consisting of over 450 unique and detailed lesson plans that ensures happy and successful students.

TGA makes it convenient and fun for your child to learn and play golf right on their school campus! Our curriculums were specially designed by industry-leading golf professionals and education specialists to ensure that the lesson plans are age-appropriate and easy to understand and retain. Students will experience a mix of golf instruction, rules and etiquette lessons, educational components, character development lessons and physical activity as they advance through the five-level program. Our screened and certified instructors are trained to help your student athlete develop a strong foundation of skills and knowledge as well as a passion for the sport. TGA provides all equipment. First time TGA students will receive a TGA hat and TGA Student Handbook. Students earn TGA color coded hat clips at every level. Maximum 10:1 student to instructor ratio.Grades K-6

Hip Hop Dance
Beat Drop Kidz is an after school program focused on teaching the art of Hip Hop Dance. We teach foundational Hip Hop moves and give our students a platform to perform at the end of the school year with all of the students in our program. It’s tons of fun & it gives students a great way to combine creativity & physical activity! We follow the code of Hip Hop which is Peace, unity, Love and having Fun, and we encourage our students to follow the same code. On top of our end of the year performance we also do fun dance parties and get-togethers and give students the opportunity to become more involved in the Hip Hop culture! New students get a free Beat Drop Kidz T-shirt! So come dance with us!

Learn authentic Hawaiian Hula dance moves, Hawaiian language terminology, and songs. Each class will consist of rehearsing basic steps and techniques to music. Students will learn choreographed routines. No experience necessary!

Japanese Activities for Children
NOTE: This class will be held at TVES this quarter
The class will introduce many fun-filled Japanese activities. The instructor was born and raised in Japan and will use the toys and materials from Japan and show how to juggle bean bags and do tricks with strings and read folk tales. The students will also learn Origami and eat noodles using chopsticks and make rolled Sushi. Simple Japanese greetings and manners will be taught each class. This is a great class for students who would like to experience a glimpse of Japanese culture.

Kung Fu Martial Arts
Train in Northern Shaolin Long Fist Kung Fu. Students will learn self-defense, safety awareness and self-confidence. Traditional art taught by certified and experienced staff of A-Long’s Kung Fu Academy.

Young actors will learn to audition, play theatre games and improvisations. We will be working towards a full musical theatre play that will take place at the end of the semester. Students should bring a snack for themselves and prepare a nursery rhyme and song for the first class.

Rock Wall Fun & Games
Beginning climbers will learn to boulder climb across the wall in a familiar and safe environment. Experienced climbers will practice their skills and will complete challenges and play games on the wall. We will also take breaks from the wall and play games in the MPR. Students will participate in relay races, obstacle courses, and play games.

Students will learn basic Spanish words, phrases, pronunciation and more in this interactive class. We will focus on conversational skills through games and activities. Price includes all materials for an interactive notebook, as well as a Mexican Feast on our last class on May 7th.

Kids Yoga teaches children how to have fun with movement while honoring their bodies and quieting their minds. This class allows your children to explore a variety of fun yoga poses and make up some of their own! We will also read books, play yoga games, explore mandala coloring, practice breath work and learn relaxation techniques. Each class is customized to the age group and to the group dynamics. Some of the school benefits of yoga are:
