Back to School Questions and Information
Please note that while students are at home for at at home hybrid day or because they are at home all 4 days, they will be going to school virtually from 8:05-3:05. Students will be expected to meet with live classes, view recorded lectures and complete assignments. It is important to remember we are back to school on these days and teachers will be providing 4 days of unique lesson plans, not 2. This means on days students do not have "live class" they will still have class and learning they are expected to complete.
We asks that you please screen your student(s) daily for the following symptoms:
- Fever of 100.4 or greater
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Muscle or body aches
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
Any other symptoms of illness, whether or not you believe it's related to COVID-19
If your student(s) exhibit any of the above, please keep them home.
If, during the school day, any of the above symptoms appear, your student(s) will be separated from the class and you will be called to pick up your student(s) within one hour.
In addition, if a student is in close contact with someone with a confirmed case of COVID-19 at any time, the student(s) will need to be quarantined for 14 days. The CDC definition of close contact is within 6 fee of a person for 15 consecutive minutes.
It is required by our District's Governing Board Policy that students wear masks when on campus. Please check your student's mask to be sure it fits properly over their nose and mouth.
