Meghan Hammer is a passionate advocate for cheerleading as a sport, Coach Hammer brings over eight years of coaching experience at both high school and recreational levels, with a proven track record of leading teams to championship victories. For the past five years, she has been the powerhouse behind the Tanque Verde Cowboys, guiding them to first-place finishes at AYC City, AYC Regionals, Jamz Anaheim, and the Athletic Championship Nationals-an incredible achievement that showcases her dedication to excellence. Coach Hammer's cheerleading journey began in her youth and continued through high school and elite All-Star teams, where she earned two national titles with the American Youth Cheerleading Association and the United Spirit Association. Her passion for the sport even took her to the professional level, where she cheered for the Tampa Bay Rays during the 2012 and 2013 seasons. Beyond the trophies and titles, Meghan is deeply committed to building strong, confident athletes-fostering skill development, teamwork, and character in every cheerleader she coaches. With her leadership, the Tanque Verde High School Cheer Program is set to soar to new heights!
