On Saturday, February 18, 2023, the Tinker Verde Nerdy Derby will make its long-awaited return featuring a no-rules Pinewood Derby (unique Gravity and Propulsion tracks), rocketry, remote control air show, STEM activities, kid zone, beverages and food for purchase, and more. This year’s event will be held at the Tucson Remote Control Club airstrip, located at 10801 E. Valencia Road, just east of Houghton. All proceeds from the Nerdy Derby will provide funding for faculty requests to help deliver our students the highest quality educational experience.

About the Foundation - Enriching Your Child’s Education

Since 1986, Tanque Verde Schools Educational Enrichment Foundation (TVF) has been an active support arm for the educational mission of the Tanque Verde School District. As a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation, we rely on your support and commitment to raising funds which provide additional support to the students and faculty of the district for educational materials that are not covered by the regular district budget. These funding requests have only been made available to the students, faculty and staff of TVUSD through the generous donations of our community.
