The Emily Gray Science Team is excited to continue the long standing tradition of educational excellence by offering a “once-in-a-lifetime” experience for 7th graders at the Catalina Island Marine Institute (CIMI). This year’s trip will take place from Tuesday, November 11 to Saturday, November 15, 2024 at Fox Landing on Catalina Island, 26 miles off the coast of Los Angeles. This trip will introduce students to marine biology and oceanography as they participate in labs and activities involving marine plants and animals, island ecology, snorkeling, ocean kayaking and geology. This is a benchmark activity for our 7th grade students and we hope your student can attend. Space is limited, so sign up early.
