GIRLS TENNIS
After a brief retirement from coaching high school tennis, Coach Stevens is excited to return to the courts. Prior to moving to an administrative role, she coached at Catalina Foothills for 27 years. In that time she was fortunate to lead and mentor players of all levels and share the experience that is high school tennis. Her tenure as head coach led to 15 state championships. As an individual sport, tennis can be isolating and the training competitive. Her approach to coaching high school tennis has always been to balance the training with the enjoyment of playing tennis as a team sport and with the pride to play for your school. Coach Stevens is a member of the Pima County Sports Hall of Fame.
