The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is a student organization founded on the principles of Scholarship, Service, Leadership, Character, and Citizenship. As members of NJHS, students serve as leaders at Emily Gray as they organize and participate in service projects and events that benefit the school and larger community.

To be considered for NJHS membership, students must:

  • Have a minimum 3.5 GPA throughout their 7th grade year

  • Exhibit the ideals of the NJHS: scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship

  • Complete an online application (NJHS Link)

  • Receive 2 faculty recommendations (by completing a recommendation form available in the school office and room 104)

  • Be confirmed by the Emily Gray Faculty Council

The application window will close on Friday, April 17, 2026. Please note that completion of the application process does not guarantee selection to NJHS.
